Is the artwork made with AI?

Nope. Old fashioned iPad and apple pencil. AI just comes in to help us organise our life without going mental. 

Do you produce the mugs yourselves?

Maybe one day, when the pull to go live in the countryside, have a massive workshop and run an animal shelter takes over.

For now, our orders are fulfilled by Gelato, a really cool print-to-order service that uses suppliers local to your region, who in turn use shipping companies that work well for your area. 

We ordered samples from a bunch of PtO suppliers to check their product and print quality, and Gelato was the one we were happiest with. Hopefully it stays like that!

What if I don't like my mug? (Returns policy)

Well, that ain't good :(

You can read our Returns & Delivery policy, the tl;dr is that there are two paths:

• If the print came out bad, it's a fulfilment problem and we can help, contact us with photos at unmute@pleasemuteyourself.com
• If the print is fine but now that it's in your hand you don't want it, that'd be very sad and we'd like to hear why (ever if it may hurt our little feelings), but also, alas, we can't take it back. As we explain during checkout, these are effectively custom orders, so they fall outside of the 14-day cooling-off right. We know that's gonna be disappointing, but we're a tiny business and we pay for each mug that gets printed.
